Scott Sexton

Chief Executive Officer, Ever.Ag

For over 25 years, Scott Sexton has been a well-known and well-respected entrepreneur and innovator in the ag and food technology industry. As chief executive officer of Ever.Ag, the leading provider of software, risk management, and market intelligence solutions for the dairy industry, he is a driving force in digitally connecting the supply chain and empowering it to feed a growing world. 

In addition to guiding Ever.Ag’s growth from a simple idea to over 600+ employees, he also serves on multiple boards, committees, and at educational institutions, including his alma mater, Baylor University. He was named by Dallas Business Journal as one of the top technology leaders in the city and landed Ever.Ag on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™.

Sexton holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Baylor, where he played Division I basketball. He and his wife live in Dallas with their three teenage daughters.

Michael Dykes, D.V.M.

President & CEO, International Dairy Foods Association

Michael Dykes, D.V.M., a long-time government affairs strategist, agricultural policy expert, and veterinarian, became president and CEO of the International Dairy Foods Association in January 2017. In this role, he represents members that make most of the milk, cultured products, cheese, ice cream and frozen desserts, and dairy-derived ingredients produced in the United States and marketed throughout the world. Since joining IDFA, Dykes has been a strong advocate for putting U.S. dairy at the center of health and wellness, innovation, sustainability, a vibrant U.S. economy, a stable and diverse workforce, and leading the world in global dairy exports. Prior to assuming his role at IDFA, Dykes served as vice president of government affairs for Monsanto, where he was responsible for developing and implementing a portfolio of U.S. government relations strategies and programs that included agricultural biotechnology policy. He led Monsanto’s office in Washington, D.C., and served as the company’s primary point of contact for elected officials, regulatory authorities, U.S. farm organizations, key industry participants, trade associations, international organizations and embassies. He directed the company’s efforts in state and local government affairs, in addition to government affairs in Mexico and Canada. Dykes is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the National Academy of Practitioners. He is also a member of the Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee (APAC), which provides U.S. trade policy advice to the current presidential administration.

Dykes grew up on a small dairy and tobacco farm in Kentucky. He earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. He also attended the University of Kentucky where he received a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.

Jennifer Harnish

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she is responsible for leading the human resources function for the company, with specific responsibilities in organizational design and leadership development, talent management, compensation and benefits administration, internal communications and safety.  Jennifer has over 20 years of experience working in leading commodity and agricultural firms, including ConAgra Foods, Ardent Mills and, most recently, PHM Brands where she was the Chief Human Resources Officer and Customer Experience Leader. Jennifer has BA and MBA degrees and is an active board member in non-profit organizations.  She lives in Northern Colorado with her family. She enjoys cheering on her two boys at their competitive events, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and dog.

Mike Sargent

President, Ever.Ag

Mike Sargent joined Ever.Ag in April 2023 as the new role of President focused on Ever.Ag’s Software business. He provides strategic focus, rigor, and operational excellence to drive growth in Ever.Ag’s Software business while finding new ways to collaborate with our high-performing Financial Services business to unlock the value of the entire Ever.Ag enterprise.  

Mike is an experienced software executive with a wealth of senior-level operating and strategy development expertise and a strong track record working with private equity partners. Among his accomplishments, Mike has led large-scale transformations as a software executive over the last 12 years. 

Prior to his software leadership roles, Mike was a senior partner for 18 years at Oliver Wyman, a leading management consulting firm. He led the Communications, Media, and Technology practice and advised his technology sector clients on growth strategy.
